May 26th, 2025 Lake Erie Fishing Report

The last few days on Lake Erie have been packed with fish tales, big laughs, and great company! We've had the pleasure of welcoming some first-timers to Lake Erie fishing charters and getting back on the water with one of our regulars – always a treat!

Family Fishing Adventures on Lake Erie

ree

A lot of recent trips have had a special family twist: dads and sons, husbands and wives, all teaming up to make memories and chase down those tasty Lake Erie walleyes. There's just something extra special about bonding over a bent rod and a fish on the line! These family fishing experiences are what make our guided walleye fishing trips truly memorable.

Weather Conditions and Fishing Comfort

The weather's been on our side more often than not lately, but we're still adjusting tactics as needed. As much as we love pointing the bow straight into the chop, let's be honest – the boat usually takes it better than we do. Our 30' Tiara doesn't flinch, even when things get a little "sporty."

Smooth Sailing on Calm Days

On the calmer days, it's smooth sailing (and excellent fishing). We've even caught a few of our anglers sneaking in a quick nap in the cabin between fish – something about that breeze, sunshine, and gentle rock makes it hard to resist! Rough or calm, the Tiara makes every trip feel like fishing from your living room… only with better views and fresher snacks! 🎣

Current Walleye Fishing Hotspots and Techniques

Where We're Finding Walleye

Here's what's working for our Lake Erie walleye charters:

  • Launch Location: Bolles Harbor

  • Fishing Location: Michigan/Ohio Line

  • Depth: 24-26 feet of water

  • Water Clarity: Clean to green chalky

Proven Walleye Fishing Techniques

Our walleye fishing techniques have been dialed in perfectly for current conditions:

  • Bait: Spoons – Hangry Brand (green and white continues to be hot)

  • Speed: 2.2-2.4 mph

  • Leads: 50-80 back off big boards (the deeper leads continue to be more productive)

These tactics align perfectly with our recent fishing reports showing consistent success in similar conditions.

More Than Just Fishing – Creating Lasting Memories

We may not always be able to guarantee a packed cooler or picture-perfect weather every time, but what we can promise is a fun-filled day on the water, packed with laughs, good vibes, and stories you'll be telling for years. Whether you're fishing for walleye in Michigan waters with family or just hanging out with friends, our charters are all about kicking back, soaking it in, and making memories together.

The Net Dreams Experience

At the end of the day, it's not just about the fish – it's about the moments, the smiles, and the shared excitement when a rod doubles over. Reeling in memories? That's what we do best! 🎣💙 Check out our gallery to see the smiles and trophy catches from recent trips.
