It's been one heck of a week out on the water! We've been putting in serious work (and having a seriously good time) chasing walleye just south of Bolles Harbor at Luna Pier - a seasonal hotspot that's currently living up to its name. If you're looking for action, this is the place to be.

Lake Erie Fishing Report - June 23rd, 2025

Current Fishing Conditions at Luna Pier

Water Temperature and Trolling Depths

Now, we'll admit - finding those high-quality marks on the fish finder has taken a little extra effort lately. With water temps hanging around 82°F and trolling depths in the 10–13 FOW range, it's not always easy. But hey, it's pretty cool when you drop in the drift sock, set trolling speed, you're just starting to set lines - and BAM! Line gets yanked right out of your hand? FISH ON, BABY!

That's the kind of week we've had, similar to what we've been seeing in our recent fishing reports.

Weather Conditions and Comfort

The second half of June booked up fast, with crews eager to limit out on walleye and make it back to the dock before things start to feel like a sauna. Thankfully, steady breezes kept the bugs in check, and the overcast skies gave us a break from the sun's full blast.

Impressive Catch Results

The results? Let's just say there's been no shortage of smiles (and fillets). We've been boating 4-, 5-, and 6-man limits in just 90 minutes to 2 hours - not too shabby for a morning's work, right? Check out our gallery to see some of these impressive catches!

With more heat on the way, we're ready: fans, cold drinks, Gatorade, and wet towels on standby. The fish may be hot, but we're staying cool on our charters.
